About High Speed Steel M35 Material Introduction
M35 cobalt-containing high speed steel is cheaper and easier to process. Through proper heat treatment, it can get high hardness (HRC67~70), high red hardness (625℃ for 4 hours,HRC63~65) and high wear resistance. Toughness and bending strength are not lower than ordinary high speed steel, which can overcome the early damage of die edge collapse and cracking.
The main characteristics of M35 high speed steel are general cutting tool die steel containing CO, quenching hardness is 1200-1240C.
The main uses are hob, broach, end milling cutter.
Standard comparison: AISI-M2 JIS-SKH51
Factory state: spheroidizing annealing <225
Characteristics and application: this steel is high speed tungsten steel.
It is suitable for manufacturing wear-resistant and impact-resistant tools, advanced punching dies, screw dies, tools requiring toughness and complex shapes, reamers, milling cutters, iron heads, punches, etc.
Forging temperature :1100-900℃
Annealing temperature: Heate to 800-850℃, stay at this temperature for 2-4 hours, let it gradually cool in the furnace.
Cooling medium: air cooling, oil, classification (550-580℃)
